HOWL....!!! (open)

An eerie howl echoed across the graveyard at the nearly full moon. Everything seemed silent.. the graveyard seemed empty nothing but grave stones.. an eerie fog wich seemed to always be there almost weavning its way around them. most trees were dead around here and just stood bare. an owl hooted from one of the trees its eyes almost all seeing as it looked for its meal... it hooted again taking flight.

Everything was black and grey here it was the disgusting and dusty. covered in cobwebs and not to mention creepy the fog eating anything small that came close. then something broke the fog. black fur slowley rising and falling as it breathed. the black fur stretched shaking its fur that seemed as dusty as the gravestones. He looked up to the moon with harsh angry eyes howling again that seeemd to ehco for miles. making the graveyard loads more eerie. this wolf came here often. a place nooone came somewhere to think. somewhere where there was death. somewhere nobody can get to you.

He kept glaring at the moon as if he hated it the most in the world. but that wasn't what he hated he hated most things espiacially humans. those horrid creatures that drove them out. made out werewolves where terrible things. This wolf was terrible but only because of his past the terror of it. his thought led him to what he was. he always thought whats the point of love.. of family there is none.. he didn't think he needed love to survive it was safer alone. wasn't it? he sat there thinking. like normal. almost unmoving as he just stared at the moon. the graveyard didn't seem to freak him at all.

His ears were pricked up but he ehard nothing but the rusteling f mice and the beating of owl wings... he just egnored them nd dug his claws into the harsh dry ground. thinking about the resno he was there. the reason he was alone..

Luna was in her wolf form... She was stronger then her sister... Strong enough to carry her fainted form on her wolfen back. Artemis had been picking flowers when two little boys and a little girl had started picking on her. It had started with the little girl. Hating how she had been 'picking her flowers' as she called it. Luna hadn't seen her name on it... Whatever though... Artemis had tried to be friendly even while being so shy... The girl just got angry making it seem like Artemis was trying to be better then her. She then rain away with crocodile tears in her eyes...

Artemis actually felt bad about the whole thing. The main reason she went to pick flowers was for her too... Why Artemis? I don't even like flowers..." She thought it and said it but it came out as a whine. Well Artemis had also gone to get away form everyone... Those flowers being away from humans... Well that little brat had to ruin that didn't she... Artemis soon was ruffed up by those two boys... Probably crushing on that little girl. Throwing rocks and insults was more then enough.... No need to do that over a bunch of colored weeds...

Luna had been nearby and was able to help by smacking the boys around. The girl ran away to get her mother and father... When she was deserpete and saw her poor sister fiant behind her from stress she had ran away in her girl form and tackled one of the boys in wolf form... The other had run away screaming 'wooooolf!!!!'... So she wasn't an werewolf at least... Theyw ere safe speciese wise... When she snapped at the boys face and let the second one run away after his friends she grabbed her sister up and bolted out of there... Now she was in a foggy nowhere filled with the stench of death and dust was everywhere...

She was getting tired. Her sister was really skinny and weak... However right now she was limp and being a pup in age... Dead weight all 100 something pounds was making her want to faint... However her sister's fate forced her to keep going under she saw a stranger... Her eyes tried to focus on the hazy figure... She couldn't see anything to detailed however... "Who are you! Get out of my way!" She didn't mean to be so mean, so rough, so rude... However her back was killing her and her sister needed a safe place to wake up... This stranger wasn't safe in her book... She glared at the hazy figure and waited for a reply.

bay hadn't seen the wolf heading his way. he was pondering all the facts like he always did thinking about the same thing over and over again he snarled to himself. Why did they ahve to leave him! why! He never understood. They just ated him. he wasn't good enough for them. he growled looking back tot he sky. If i ever see you again parents.. i'll kill you! he thought too himself as if praying to them.. wherever they were.

He then heard something. He glanced behind him to see a wolf carrying a human! what was this wolf doing helping a human?! He got up. and it turned out he was a bit bigger then her glaring down at her bearing his teeth slightly growling. "what was that!" he growled. He considered this his territory and he wasn't going to get pushed around by some kid with a human. if anything he hoped that human would die whatever was wrong with it. really bay used to be nice and caring but not anymore seemingly. He probably could if he tried anyway. n owl hotted over head but bay kept his gaze on the small wolf. He looked like he was parta pf the graveyard his fur being as dusty as the gravestones and his eyes gleaming cruelly.

Luna was about ready to go around when it reply to her... The reply pissed her off... Feeling like she couldn't hold her sister up anymore she transformed back. Carefully holding her sister in front of her she looked at the figure. She heard him snarl and that just provoked her to do the same. "Listen you! I'm trying to help my sister she nee-" Before she could finish her sister began to wake up. Gripping at her sister she didn't notice the boy. "Sister... Those kids.... What did you do? Please don't tell me you gave it away..." Luna looked at her and forgot about the boy for a moment. "No no... They screamed wolf..." Artemis then relaxed a little. "Good... I don't want you protecting me and ruining it all..."

Luna sighed as she brushed some hair out of her sisters face. "Its alright I'd do anything for you dear sister..." Artemis just crawled closer to her sister... She then noticed the boy... Er werewolf. She then pointed towards him. "Who is he dear sister?" Luna sighed. "I don't know... Someone who is standing in our way to get back 'home'....." Artemis made a sound of realization.... She then looked that the boy. "Um excus... Nnnn Excuse me can we please pass... My sister had worked herself into weakness over me... It would be ever so kind of you if you could place excuse us...." She was trying to be nice. Trying to fix what her sister had broken trying to protect her... To back her chest hurt and her eyes were heavy... She knew her sister wanted to bolt with her but she knew it wouldn't be good if she fainted too...

Luna listened to her plead their case... How much it twisted her fur to let her sick sister plead to a stranger... Growling lightly she bit her tongue... Her sister was working hard and if she said something to ruin it... Well that would be quite idiotic. "Change you change?" Luna said softly to her sister. Artemis shrugged lightly. She then attempted but then shook her head. "It hurts... To... Much..." Luna nodded... It was bad again then... She was having another asthma attack... That or just having an attack of the panicking kind... She glared at the boy. Daring him to keep pissing her off... She was itching for a fight... Those human brats did nothing for her... Why pass this up...

Bs ready to leap at the little brat when the human woke up looks like she wasn't a human no she was like him.he snorted growling. He stopped he didn't do anything for a while as he watched them then he listened. he listened for ehr plee for no fighting. He could tell she was in no state for a fight and she didn't look well but.. but what did he care she didn't matter. he felt his heart throb though too much rememberance. he ahd to look away trying not to show his feelings he pretended to look behind him. the other girl was a little big headed wich he hated she wouldn't mind a fight he thought but no... he wouldn't.. bay stepped aside unable to look at them "go.. don't come back" he said coldly turning to leave. his heart throbbing. why... why did he still have a heart! He suddenly looked more rail then before he was bigger then her but something about his state of mind was less than ok.

Artemis was pleased to see that they were able to leave. "See... Fighting does... nothing... Luna..." Luna looked away. She always went to fighting seeing it was what she was good at, friendly conversations... Weeeell cross that off the talent list. "I guess your right then..." Transforming back into a wolf she noticed her sister trying to also. Whining lightly and nudging her thigh to stop Artemis patted her head and gave a little smile. "Alright if you... Say so..." She gripped Luna around the neck lightly to get her balance. Slowly the two started to walk. Luna disliked the attitude this wolf gave them but held it inside... They had gotten away and Artemis one more worked her magic... Why ruin it with her lack of people skills... Rather werewolf skills. She sighed as she helped her sister away from the bloody fog.

"Luna... Do you know... Where were going?" A simple whine and a shake of the head showed she didn't. To much fog and no actual destination beyond this point... Which was a roadblock in her mind. "Got any ideas then?" Luna once more whined and shook her head. She was roaming around. She stopped and looked at Artemis, her lavender eyes flashing words she couldn't speak. "Hmm..." Putting a finger on her lip she looked around. Go that way.

[/b]" Luna looked and mentally shrugged... Psh she probably knew better then she did anyways. Walking a little further Artemis slowed down and started panting. Kneeling forward she fell. Luna violently turned her head. Whining she pushed her head into her shoulder. She then was getting fed up with the lack of communication even though Artemis had it pretty much down pat.

Turning into a human she didn't care for the lack of clothing. She went to her now limp sister's side. "Artemis? C'mon sis wake on up! ..." Shaking her lightly and not getting a reply she frowned... Not again..." She snarled lightly at the thought of being stuck here... She was to weak to keep carrying her sister... Sighing she turned back into a wolf... laying her head on her sister's now turned over form, she placed it lightly on her stomach. So she could feel her breathing... She kept a low snarl... Darling anyone to try and harm her fallen sister...[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Bay hadn't gone far. he knew this would happen it always did. The fog always took its victims. not knowing friend from foe. Bay was used to the fog he had lived in it for years. In a strange way it sort of embraced him for protection helping him be undecteted to prey and other poeple. But noone ever came here anyway. Bay had watched them thinking it wouldn't be long before she collapsed she didn't look good and either did the other girl. He sighed but his heart thribbed again NO! he growled in his head she is not my sister... she ins't. itd.. toatally different! he snarle din his head. He was arguing with himself. again... he thought he should help them. his den was big enough and not like they would turn on him... No he snarled what are u doing going so soft! there young they shoúld take care of themselves! But as he thought it over he head made him almost whine please no he growled stop thinking about it but it was over he would help them.

The fog almost parted to allow bay to step towards them. he was in human wearing just trousers he was topless. He slowley crept forward so he was seeable. the fog almost embracing him but making him just seeable. his voice was deep and cruel not that he ment to be " your not going to get far in this fog..." he started looking at the wolf mostly. She seemed to be the fighter the one he had to convince. he couldn't believe he was even trying to convince anyone but he was. ".. i have a den not far from here... you may come and rest in there if you want somewhere safe" he didn't sound friendly but this was the friendliest he got. It went sort of silent as he waited for a reply. he knew they wouldn't last long out here there were werewolves and other things here that would take them alot meaner then him.

Artemis's breathing was getting ragged. Luna was beginning to herself panic... She hadn't gotten any good sleep lately and was feeling rather dizy herself... However she knew if she went down her sister wouldn't be safe. If only she didn't leave her stuff behind in the rush... She looked at Artemis quickly... The girl was beginning to sweat... How did it look to others? To a human she would be shot and to a werewolf who didn't have a good nose... She and her sister both would be torn apart for consistency... Even though she wasn't a human.

She whined lightly. Her thoughts were broke up by a boy in trousers.. And nothing else seeing he was topless. He offered a place to stay... Though they way he talked made it seemed like he was leading them to their death rather then their saving grace... However with another quick look at her sick sister she really had no choice... Out here she knew death was coming... With him and this 'den' he spoke about she could only hope it was safer... Sighing she normally wouldn't want any help but as got up and herself fell down she snarled at herself... Being a wolf was to much on her body at the moment... Transforming into a girl again she knelt by her sister. A ripped up tube top like wrap covered her top half, a small tattered 'mini skirt' like think was wrapped around her waist. At one point it had looked like her sister's dress. All cute and puffy, however with all her transformations it had ripped in many places and then buffeted. At this point she didn't' really care. Fixing her sister's little crown she stood up violently... Only to fall back to her knees with a hand on her head.

She tried again and this time went slower. Standing finally she placed a hand on her hip, keeping the other on her head. "Where is this 'den' you speak of? Arte can't walk anymore... I don't know how much farther I can carry her." She dropped her hand off her head and looked him in the eyes.... Or tried to with the fog. Her indigo eyes flashed. Mumbling something about bratty human children and their colorful weeds... She went back to her sister. She this time picked up her sister in her human form. She disliked how short she was... At least whens eh was a wolf she could hide that a bit... Here she was a lowly 4'9" or something like that. Placing her sister's leg's around her waist, she forced her to wrap her arms around her neck. "Please don't choke me... I know you might want to have some fun just try not to drive me crazy." She said it with soft human. Her sister smiled weakly and moaned lightly while nodding. "Good." Taking a deep breath she felt her second wind coming. Tilting her head and looking up at the shadowy figure she pursed her lips. "Well?"

Artemis was shifting rather violently on her back. "Relax dear sister..." Artemis just moaned again lightly. "Nightmares? Hmm... I wonder..." She tilted her head towards her discontent sister. "Oh. Trying to sing it into her sisters ear, or at least as close as she could as the lyrics slipped off her tongue and though her lips, her sister because to relax. They had been walking though the city and she had heard that song and really liked it.... She was surprised she remembered that much of the song... She couldn't remember the rest though. She would have if she remembered to bring their iPod she had worked her butt of to get... Hopefully it would still be there... When her sister was more like sleeping she looked again at the werewolf. She figured names were to be exchanged... "Name's Luna. Her name is Artemis..." She then decided to keep quiet. She was using all her strength attempting to be nice... Something she really wasn't use to doing, besides being nice to her sister of course...

Bay watched the two girls more a moment more. His eyes were wolf as they looked over them. he could smell artemis was sick and the other girl luna was tired. Looks like he had gotten to them just in time. Bay sounded mean but he wasn't being mean he usually wa sthis was strange for him.. but the more he watched them the more his heart throbbed. He knew luna didn't trust him but he didn't care he didn't care about much. He had seen this dangers in this fog he was used to be one of them. He would usually attack stray humans he just had to his head told him too mostly he never understood why. He looked around he seemed to beable to see through this fog even though it looked pretty unbreakable. It swirled around him makin ghim look creepy his eyes were bright in the dark and misty fog.

Bay watched this wolf get up.. then fall down.. then get up agian.. then fall down again.. he shook his head.. oh dear he thought. He watched her change she was.. pretty he thought but shook it away. he was skiny but he had muscles. he had many scratches across his front but the biggest scar and the most seeable was on his shoulder it was huge and horrible. what could hve happened to give him that. Bay never thought about. He never would again. He had gotten that weak before but he had had to scrape himself off the ground and find saftey. he had a very dim view on the world. To him it was horrible uncaring and there was no point to it! His black hair wa dusty like his wolf coat he was almost ghost like in the fog.

bay nodded when she agreed. He knew he must look scary and maybe even trying to kill them. If it wasn't for his bleeding heart he would have. "it's not far..." he said stepping a little farther out of the fog so he could be seen properly taller then both of them. "just over a mile east" he said turning that way.. "stay close.. its easy to get lost in this fog" he said darkly starting to slowley walk. After a few minutes of walking he heard something he thought luna had spoke so he turned him head but she was.. singing rather beautifuly. he turned away still walking but also listening he felt choked all of a sudden she was so caring she reminde dhim of his sister so much it killed him but he tried not to show it. After she had finished he unclenched his fists. He kept a lookout seeing through the fog. Then she said something he didn't turn around as he listened "names bay" he said flatly stopping and sniffing the air.. he quickly looked around. he smelt her close wat was she doing here this time of night.. oh well he didn't want to run into her with these two following him "come.. we haven't far to go" he said speeding up slightly

Luna followed after Bay closely. She didn't feel like getting lost, and had no strength to waste on screaming out for help... Not that she would... She didn't like help. He told his name... So at least he was polite... He seemed rough and edgy... She didn't like that while being so tired but if he was giving out his name... Hopefully she wasn't giving to much hope into this... Her sister made her weak as a pup when she was like this... Mentally anyways, physically she forced herself to tough it out. She was about to say something else when Artemis stirred. "Luna... Where are we... Going?" Luna perked up. "Were going somewhere safe. Don't worry." Artemis nodded. "Gomen nasai..." Luna frowned. "Shizuka ni shiro... Ikimasho..." Artemis was surprised at her toughness but nodded and sighed. Hugging her sister without choking her. Luna smiled lightly before hiding it again with another frown.

She hoped the den either was hidden well and didn't need the fog, or the fog wasn't as bad so she could at least see Bay clearly... She felt like she needed to see him detailed... Just in case... Hmm it seemed like she never would become friendly... damn those werewolves... Being all cruel to her and her sister because they were twins... That one werewolf was so kind... To bad she had to die... Snarling lightly at those faces she did remember she lightly shook her head. "Artemis O genki desu ka?" Artemis felt better but still replied the same "Byoki desu" Luna nodded and put a little more speed in her step. She was tired and her sister sick. She needed to get her to a comfortable place... So she could get some rest... Plus sh neeed to rest too... She couldn't protect her sister without rest.

(Pardon the Japanese. I was reading manga so it sparked it xD its nothing important. Kinda like asking how your doing and saying she is sick, then saying I"m sorry and saying to be quiet... Then to get going... Faster anyways. xD hope it doesn't confuse or annoy.)

Bay listened too them talk but didn't say a word he understood a little but didn't bother trying to understand. luna was pretty and strong. A bit like him but probably not wiht a bleeding heart like his. he side as he kept walking. He looked about feeling her close. Please let me get back to my den first he pleaded in his head looking about glaring slightly growling.That woman had hunted him for years never getting close but right know he was trying to help someone and she was just making things harder. Bay finally saw his den come into view. it was covered in fog barely seeable "alright.. its just over here" he said. looking to them pointing to the hole in a cliff face. basically a small cave. It was well hidden beyhind bushes and the fog helped alot. He walke towards it stopping at the entrance waiting for them to walk inside. he had kept himself hidden for a long time he had given in to his wolf instincts and it told him this was a good place for a den. Inside was dark and hard but there was some mossy type bed with fur adn things it didn't look very nice but it felt so soft. It was big enough for both luna and artemis. bay was going to let them sleep there he wouldn't sleep anyway. In a corner there was dried blood spatters and a strong smell of fresh blood.

Following behind him close, Luna heard him growl. She figured it was a little rude to speak in a language that he didn't understand, but for Artemis when she was sick it was easier on her mind to speak her native tongue. When they reached the cave, it looked uncomfortable to most humans but to her she was used to sleeping in such places. Hell she could fall asleep on top of a rock bed in five seconds flat after a day of traveling with her sister. Looking inside as she walked into the cave she found it a little more decorated then a rock bed. It actually had a roof, it was soft with moss, and it had more room.

She was placing Artemis down when she smelt blood. It hit her hard. Looking around she noticed blood splatter... She had no idea who it was from... It made her a bit nervous. Artemis was still out like a light, her breathing was better now that she wasn't traveling anymore. Luna then laid down next to her. Closing her eyes she 'went to sleep' she kept her ears open. She would rest quickly. She always did when she was alone. She was used to it.... She could only wonder why there was blood on the wall. She had an idea but her darker mind kept that calm thinking from seeming real.

Bay sat down just beside them awatching not exactly staring. He would glance at them then look away to outside. The blood on the wall was noting forgettable but he did wat had to be done. He was prtoecting his home he told himself everytime he smelt the blood and saw it. he was just protecting himself. The fog was still thick outside but bay still seemed to beable to see through it years living there got him used to it. His senses were clearer then most. the womans scent he knew had gone farther so she was going away. he relaxed slightly at least she wasn't there. He shook his head steeping so he was outisde in the fog but just infront of the cave he turned wolf lokoing up to the sky it was slightly hidden ubt to him he could see it fine. He howled again as it echoed around he was warning.. warning them to stay away.. but there was a hidden message there as well something unreadble.

Artemis finally smelt the blood thought her dazed and pretty much unconsciousness state. She awoke violently from the nightmares she had been having. The blood not helping. Luna woke up from resting on top of her stomach, and when she spazzed woke up almost as violently. She looked at her sister with worry when she pointed towards the walls, mainly the blood stained ones. "Where are we?" Luna patted her head. "Don't mind the blood... I don't know where it came from but... Were are in Bay-kun's cave..." Artemis nodded. She then coughed in her hand. Still sick... she laid down again feeling safe. Luna heard the howl but knew it was Bay. She smelt another... Someone she didn't know, an older female... She didn't like the smell... She dealt with it however. Resting with Artemis going back to sleep she wondered when the sun would rise...

Bay sat outside still he stopped howling and just kept guard outside. He was rugged and rough but really bay used to be nice. You wouldn't thinking ti looking at him and how he acts. Bay got up dissapearing from site for a few minutes and then returned blood scent suddenly got stronger but it wasn't the wall.Bay came thorugh the fog with a deer in his jaws. It must have gotten lost in the fog. Bay walked in dragging it in after him. He layed down ont he other side of the cave seeable and began to eat. Blood went all over his muzzle and paws but it was lovely. He tore into it. hungryly eating it. snarling slightly as he ate.
